Delivery charges

Our standard delivery charges are £4.00 for orders up to £10, £8.00 for orders between £10-£70, £12.00 for orders between ££70-£140, £18 for orders between £140 and £250 and all orders over £250 are posted free of charge within the mainland UK. This is our standard delivery charge for the majority of packages and aims to be with you within 1-2 business days. Business days are classed as Monday to Friday. Orders placed during our operating hours of 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday during working hours will be processed the same day. Orders placed after 5pm will be processed the following day. Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed on the following Monday.

We use a number of different carriers for our deliveries and their usual window for delivery is between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday. Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee a specific time of delivery. Goods will not be left on your property without anyone being present to take delivery of the item.

We will be happy to confirm collection and dispatch from our premises should you wish to check on the progress of your order. As with any delivery service, our carriers can be affected by adverse weather conditions, road closures and other issues while out on deliveries.

We do not ship products outside of the UK.

Collection only products

Due to the size, weight or fragile nature of some of the products we sell, we will not post them out and therefore they are collection only from our Derbyshire site.

When will my order arrive?

Whilst arrival on the expected delivery day cannot be guaranteed, under normal circumstances, orders dispatched for next working day delivery will arrive next day. If this isn’t the case, road works or adverse weather conditions will typically account for any delays to your delivery.

If there is any damage found when you open your parcel we reserve the right to send replacement parts to you in order to resolve the situation. Please notify us ASAP so that we can send the replacement parts to you

If you require a Saturday delivery, we can arrange this at extra cost. Please call us on 01246 471199 to discuss your delivery requirements.

Do I need to be present to receive my order?

Yes, our carriers will only deliver to the address specified upon ordering and will require a signature upon delivery. Small items sent through the post using Royal Mail will be posted through the letterbox without a signature.

Can I have my order delivered to an alternative address?

Yes. When you place an order you have the option to enter different billing and delivery addresses. It is essential that the postcode is provided together with a phone number for the alternative delivery address in order to prevent any delays.

My goods have not arrived

If your goods have not arrived within 2 working days of the expected delivery date, please contact us either through email or over the phone so that we can make enquiries about your parcel with the carrier.

Returns and Refunds

Returns will only be accepted if the item is returned in its original condition, within 28 days of the date you received the item, new and unused (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) where we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.

We can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. Please note that we reserve the right to return items to you that have been returned to us after the 28 days unless they are faulty.

We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect.

Colour changes and specification updates

Our suppliers reserve the right to alter colours and update the specifications of their products without prior notification. We suggest customers email us if the colour or product updates present an issue before ordering, we can then confirm our current stock specifications. Details are correct at time of listing and we can not accept return requests based on the colour or updated specifications not matching the listing.

Shipping and handling charges for returns will be borne by the buyer.

To ensure the safe return of the merchandise and for your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service or obtain a certificate of posting.


A full refund including the postage & packing charge will only be made if the item is faulty.

If you are withdrawing from the purchase after dispatch and there has been no error on our part, the cost of postage and packing will stand.

A refund after the first 7 working days from delivery may incur a re-stocking and administrative charge of £20.00

Fitting of Appliances

We recommend that all gas & electrical appliances i.e. Fridges, Cookers, Gas hobs and Air Conditioning units etc. are fitted by a qualified engineer. Failure to do so can invalidate your warranty.

Call out charges are not covered under warranty

Warranty procedures sometimes require a product to be taken to an approved service partner; customers who call out a “mobile” engineer from one of these partners should note the call out charges incurred are not covered as part of the warranty.

Commercial use

Please note that unless specified or advised to the contrary by us in writing all products sold by Autocraft Motor Caravans are for Leisure use only and are NOT intended for commercial use.

Your Statutory Rights

Cooling-off Period

By law, consumers in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within 7 working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. The item should be returned in its original condition, unopened and with any seals and shrink-wrap intact.

To cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, please call us on 01246 471199 to inform us of your decision and receive a returns reference number.

Please package the relevant item(s) securely and send it to us so that we receive it within seven working days of the day after the date that the item was delivered to you.

To ensure the safe return of the merchandise and for your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service or obtain a certificate of posting.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged or defective.

We may be able to arrange for collection of the item from your residence at your cost.

As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of the order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item.
